Energy Economist and

Policy Expert

John helps leadership teams navigate energy regulatory uncertainty. He translates surging power demand from data centers and AI, along with grid transformation, into clear strategic advantage. At the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), he led modeling improvements for the National Energy Modeling System (NEMS) focused on nuclear, electricity pricing, and grid infrastructure. Previously at FERC, he analyzed tariff filings and supported Commission decisions on RTO/ISO markets, ancillary services, and capacity markets. He also directed energy and climate policy modeling projects at EPRI for utility clients.

John doesn’t just analyze policy — he translates complex energy market dynamics into clear strategic advantage.
